Christmas 2005 held on the 3rd December was well attended by some 80 guests.
This year we invited not only Veterans, but the War Widows too and from the amount of laughter and talking I'd say everyone enjoyed the day.
Every year there are special people to thank. Number one on the list is Peter and Coach Holidays Australia for providing a bus to pick up the Widows and some Veterans and Veteran Geoff Baines for volunteering to drive for the day.
Thanks also to Bruce and Liz Acutt for providing and cooking prawn kebabs for entre. Our BBQ cooks Mick & Dan for doing a great job on the snags and steaks, the Cockscomb crew for preparing the salad, running the Ba Me Ba and a weeks work getting ready for the day
